The ranchers in the areas of Cordoba, Rosario and Mendoza traditionally raise their cattle in herds that graze freely on the natural grasslands. What we have found through rigorous testing standards by outside laboratories is that we never find insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, steroids, antibiotics or hormones in our collagen or gelatin.
Gelatin is the purified protein derived by the selective hydrolysis of collagen from the skin, connective tissues, and/or bones of animals. Great Lakes Gelatin® provides you with the highest types of pure, unflavored, edible gelatins.
Gelatin is an excellent source of protein and cannot be recovered from hooves, horns or non-collagen parts of vertebrate animals. There are no plant sources of gelatin. Recommended daily dosage is two level tablespoons. Take one tablespoon before or during breakfast and one before or during dinner. To help curb appetite, take before meals.
